Ye’s Website Selling Swastika T-Shirts Taken Down After Super Bowl Ad

Rapper and designer Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, faced backlash after airing a Super Bowl ad promoting a website selling T-shirts with swastikas. The 30-second commercial, which aired in select local markets, showed Ye in a dentist’s chair, directing viewers to his online store, Yeezy.com.
By Tuesday morning, the website was taken down, replaced with a message stating the store was unavailable. Shopify, the platform processing orders, confirmed that Ye’s store violated its policies and was removed.
The ad came just days after Ye posted a rant on social media, calling himself a Nazi and expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler, leading to the deactivation of his X account. The Anti-Defamation League strongly condemned Ye’s actions, calling the swastika a symbol of hatred and fear.
This controversy follows previous antisemitic remarks by Ye, which led to suspensions from social media platforms and lost business deals. While Fox, the Super Bowl broadcaster, has not commented, the ad’s local placement suggests it bypassed national scrutiny. Ye has yet to respond publicly to the incident.
