Uber Introduces Live Ride Monitoring for Parents

Uber has introduced a new safety feature that lets parents watch their teenager’s Uber ride live through the driver’s smartphone.

Parents receive a notification when live video is available. Both the driver and teen are notified when the parent is watching, and the video automatically ends when the trip is over.
Uber says the feature adds to existing safety tools like trip tracking, PIN verification, and audio recording. The feature is rolling out across the U.S. in the coming weeks.
