Thank You for making the 2026 MWBE Conference a Success!

The MWBE Conference was a success. The event was historic with total attendance exceeding 600 participants from across our 4 regions representing a cross-section of businesses, agencies and organizations.

There were 3 former MWBE Officers at the Awards Dinner, in addition to the current MWBE Officer. A Pioneer Award was given to Mr. Mike Tyler for being the initiator of the City’s MWBE program and the 1st MWBE Officer. Ms Sandra Simon received a Pioneer Award for being the 1st woman MWBE Officer and standing her ground to advocate for MWBEs to get contracts. Ms Constance Mitchell-Jefferson received a Trailblazer Award as she further enhance the program, rewriting the municipal ordinance.
