Taco Bell Investigated in Nationwide Cyclospora Outbreak

Federal and state investigators are examining whether Taco Bell is linked to a cyclospora outbreak that has sickened over 5,100 people in 34 states.

No connection has been confirmed, but Taco Bell has temporarily removed some ingredients at select locations as a precaution. 

Health officials currently suspect contaminated lettuce or other salad greens as the likely source, and no recalls have been issued.
