Storm Reid Confirms She Won’t Return for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

Actress Storm Reid has confirmed she will not return for the third and final season of HBO’s Euphoria but says she has no hard feelings. Speaking at TIME’s Women of the Year dinner, Reid called the decision “bittersweet” but expressed excitement for the upcoming season.
Reid played Gia, the younger sister of Zendaya’s Rue, and says she cherishes their bond, stating, “That’s gonna be my sister for life.”
Other cast members Nika King, Austin Abrams, and Algee Smith will also not return, while Barbie Ferreira previously exited the show, and Angus Cloud tragically passed away in 2023.
Despite her departure, Reid remains grateful for her time on the series, saying, “Schedules just can’t align sometimes,” but she looks forward to watching the new season, set to premiere in early 2026.
