Shaquille O’Neal Covers Funeral Costs for 12-Year-Old After Georgia Bus Stop Tragedy

Shaquille O’Neal is stepping in to cover the funeral costs of 12-year-old Jada West, who died March 8 after a fight at a bus stop in Villa Rica.

The altercation, involving another student from Mason Creek Middle School, escalated from taunting to a physical fight. West reportedly fell and may have hit her head. She had also experienced bullying prior to the incident.

Now working with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and local officials, O’Neal is helping support the family as authorities continue investigating.
