Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Prison Release Date Moved Up Again

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison sentence just got shorter. The rapper, 56, has a new release date of Jan. 21, 2028, according to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate records viewed by USA TODAY Tuesday, Sept. 29. He is currently incarcerated in New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix for his July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs, who denies all allegations of sexual misconduct, was ordered to 50 months behind bars in October, with his initial release set for May 8, 2028. In the time since, he has seen multiple shifts in that date, both extending and reducing his sentence.
