Rochester Students Receive Scholarships For Top-Performances

More than 100 city students received special recognition Wednesday evening. The Rochester Children’s Scholarship Fund held a ceremony to celebrate some of the top performers from around the Rochester City School District this academic year. The organization offers scholarship money to students who have an average of B or higher. This year, 90% of the seniors who earned support from the program will be attending a four-year college. During their high school career, students can earn up to $2,500 from the scholarship fund.
