Rochester Public Market announces 2026 special events lineup, beginning with Food Truck Rodeo on April 29

Mayor Malik Evans announced a series of special events hosted by the Rochester Public Market through the rest of the year. The 2026 season kicks off with the first Food Truck Rodeo on April 29. Food Truck Rodeos will take place on the last Wednesday of every month through September, bringing together food vendors from across the region. The market, located on Union Street, is one of the oldest continuously operating public markets in the country and draws thousands of visitors each week during peak season. Additional events will include seasonal celebrations and community programming throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The Public Market has become a centerpiece of Rochester’s local food economy and a gathering space for residents across the city’s neighborhoods.
