Rochester Pride Festival & Parade This Saturday

Rochester celebrated the LGBTQ community over the weekend with the kickoff of Pride Month. The city is gearing up for its annual Pride Festival and Parade this Saturday. People gathered at Genesee Valley Park on Sunday for the 54th annual Pride Picnic, which included music, food, arts vendors, and more. Rainbow Seniors ROC hosted the event.

You can see a list of upcoming Pride events on the Rochester LGBTQ+ Together calendar. The Rochester Pride Festival returns to Highland Park on Saturday, July 18. The festival includes a parade, live music, food, arts vendors, and drag. The celebration kicks off with the Pride Parade at 11 a.m. at South Avenue and Science Parkway. The parade will then head north on Highland Avenue to Highland Park for the festival. General admission for the festival costs $5, and children under 12 are free.
