Rihanna Brings Her Sons With A$AP Rocky to Beginning of Closing Arguments

Rihanna brought her two sons, RZA and Riot, to court on Thursday, February 3, as closing arguments began in A$AP Rocky’s gun assault trial. The toddlers, whom she shares with the rapper, were present during the initial proceedings before she later re-entered the courtroom without them. Rihanna has attended multiple sessions of the trial, sometimes sitting alongside Rocky’s mother and sister.

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is accused of firing a semi-automatic firearm at his former friend, Terrell Epheron (A$AP Relli), during a 2021 altercation in Hollywood. The prosecution claims he used a real gun, while the defense argues it was a prop gun firing blanks. The defense also suggested that Epheron had planned to extort Rocky.

A$AP Twelvyy and A$AP Illz, who were present at the scene, testified that Epheron was the aggressor. Rocky declined to testify in his defense. If convicted on two felony assault charges, he could face up to 24 years in prison. Jury deliberations are expected to begin on Friday, February 14.
