Reports Say Interest Rates on 30 Year Home Mortgages Dropped Over 1%

Rochester First reported that 30-year mortgage rates dropped from 7.3% to 6.1% within the last six weeks dropping the monthly cost of buying a home and allowing buyers to be able to spend $40,000 more on a home.
