Red Wings Stadium Renamed ESL Ballpark After County Approval

The Rochester Red Wings’ stadium is now called ESL Ballpark after the Monroe County Legislature approved a 10-year naming rights deal with ESL Federal Credit Union in a 27-1 vote.
ESL will pay $550,000 in the first year, with payments increasing 2% annually. The agreement could extend up to 30 years. Most lawmakers praised the partnership, while one legislator voted no, citing a rushed review process.
The Red Wings open their home season March 31 and will again offer their “50-degree guarantee” for Opening Day.
