Quinta Brunson Receives Key to Philadelphia and Mural Tribute

“Abbott Elementary” star Quinta Brunson will be honored in her hometown of Philadelphia with the Key to the City and a mural at her alma mater, Andrew Hamilton School. Titled “Blooming Futures,” the mural—created in collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia—depicts students as growing plants and teachers as caretakers. Brunson, who helped design the project, called the tribute a meaningful way to give back to the city that raised her. The mural features real students and staff from the school, making the dedication especially personal.
