Price Is Going Up On Netflix Again

The streaming giant has raised the prices across all of its plans, marking the second price hike in a little over a year. Netflix has bumped the ad-supported standard tier by $1, bringing it to $8.99 per month. Meanwhile, both the standard tier without ads and the premium plan now cost $2 more, bringing them to $19.99 and $26.99, respectively. Finally, the “extra member” fee has increased by $1 to $7.99 per month with ads or $9.99 per month without.

Rising prices have become common among streaming services over the last several years. In January 2025, Netflix bumped pricing across tiers by similar amounts. Earlier this month, Amazon also raised prices on its premium Prime Video plan while removing 4K streaming for users of its standard tier. Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max have all raised prices within the last year as well.
