Octavia Spencer to Receive George Eastman Award in Rochester

Octavia Spencer will be honored with the George Eastman Award on July 17 at 8 p.m. at the Dryden Theatre in Rochester.
Known for roles in The Help, Hidden Figures, and Fruitvale Station, Spencer will be celebrated with a career retrospective, highlight reel, live discussion, and gala. Tickets go on sale June 18 for the public, with early access for members of the George Eastman Museum.
