Voter Registration

• Registration deadline: Your application must be received by your county Board of Elections by June 13, 2026.
• If you’re already registered, the deadline to change your party affiliation has already passed.

Ways to Register

You can register:

• In person at your county Board of Elections
• At participating New York State agencies
• Through the DMV (including online if you have a DMV-issued ID)
• By requesting or downloading a voter registration form and mailing it to your county Board of Elections
• By calling 1-800-FOR-VOTE for assistance

If you move, New York law requires you to notify the Board of Elections within 25 days of your address change.
