New York offers help to students dropped by Howard University

New York State is offering expedited admission to students who were recently unenrolled from Howard University just weeks before the fall semester. More than 500 affected students can apply for late admission at participating SUNY and CUNY campuses, including SUNY Albany, SUNY Binghamton, the University at Buffalo, Buffalo State University, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY Oneonta.
To help with the financial impact, the state is also providing an $800 credit to students who enroll at a participating public college, helping offset the non-refundable enrollment deposit they previously paid to Howard University.
