New York Invests $100M in Law Enforcement Technology

New York State is investing $100 million to modernize law enforcement, including $75 million for equipment such as body cameras, drones, and protective gear, and $25 million for a new statewide records management system.
Police departments and sheriffs’ offices across the state will be eligible to apply for funding.
