Nearly $400,000 in Lobster Vanishes After Thieves Impersonate Truckers  

Nearly $400,000 worth of lobster bound for Costco was stolen while being transported from Massachusetts to Illinois and Minnesota after criminals impersonated legitimate truckers using fake IDs, spoofed emails, and burner phones. 

The freight company says this organized tactic is becoming more common, driving up supply-chain costs that consumers ultimately pay. 

The FBI is investigating the theft.
