Nearly 300–360 Wendy’s Stores Set to Close Nationwide

Wendy’s will close 5% to 6% of its nearly 6,000 U.S. locations in the first half of 2026 as part of a downsizing plan.

Interim CEO Ken Cook said about 28 stores already closed in late 2025, with total closures expected to reach roughly 300 to 360. Specific locations have not been announced.
