Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Series of Dumpster Fires

Authorities are investigating a series of suspected arson incidents involving dumpster fires along the Jefferson Road corridor in Henrietta.

According to Mark Cholach, crews from the Henrietta Fire District responded to four separate locations near Jefferson Road and East Henrietta Road between 4:45 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Investigators determined that four dumpsters and one standalone garbage can were intentionally set on fire. No injuries occurred, and no buildings or other structures were damaged.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incidents.
