Monroe County DMVs to Close Fridays for Statewide System Upgrade

Monroe County DMVs will be closed on several upcoming Fridays as staff train on a new statewide system launching in February. 

The county hopes the closures, timed during a slower season, won’t cause major disruptions. 

The upgrade is expected to make DMV visits faster and smoother once live. 

Customers are urged to check office hours before visiting, as each county’s training schedule varies.
