Man Accused of Threats Against Trump Jr., Local Officials Charged by Federal Prosecutors

A Rochester man has been charged with allegedly making online threats against Donald Trump Jr., according to federal prosecutors.

Authorities say the threats were made during a live chat for Trump Jr.’s podcast and repeated during a livestream. 

The complaint also alleges the man previously threatened Rochester Mayor Malik Evans and State Sen. Samra Brouk. 

He faces a federal charge carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
