Lawsuit Filed Against Eastman Kodak After Deadly New Year’s Crash

A lawsuit has been filed against Eastman Kodak after a deadly crash outside the Kodak Center on January 1, 2024.
Police say Michael Avery drove toward pedestrians before crashing into another vehicle, killing himself, two passengers — Joshua Orr and Justina Hughes — and pedestrian Dawn Revette. Investigators said Avery had scouted the area and bought gasoline and a concert ticket beforehand.
The lawsuit alleges the company failed to properly secure and supervise the venue.
