Despite fan speculation that Taylor Swift would land the lead—especially with Eras Tour director Sam Wrench helming the project—sources say the script has been “specifically tailored” for Kim, and Warner Bros. is strongly backing her.
The news has surprised Swift fans, who believed she was the natural fit.
