WDKX is proud to celebrate our own Jazzy T, who has been named a 2026 ATHENA Young Professional Award finalist by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
The ATHENA Young Professional Award recognizes emerging female leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession and serve as a role model for young women both personally and professionally.
If you know Jazzy, you know this honor fits. She’s been the host of Rochester’s Best Ride Home weekdays 2pm -6pm on WDKX for 10 years with a total of 25 years in radio and television broadcasting using her voice to inform, uplift, and connect our community. Day after day, she shows up with authenticity, heart, and a non-apologetic perspective on the stories that matter.
The ATHENA Awards are celebrating 40 years of recognizing women who lead with purpose, and this year’s finalists represent leaders from across medicine, media, education, nonprofit work, finance, and more. What they all have in common is a belief that real progress happens when we bring people together—and Jazzy T lives that out on and off the air.
An entrepreneur since 2010, Jazzy is the founder of JazzCast Pros, an MWBE-certified communications firm providing podcast production, digital content development, and strategic messaging support for entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and corporate clients.
She’s also the creator of Hustle for Health, a Buffalo–based wellness program focused on group fitness, mental health, and community healing since 2014.
