Gayle King is expected to leave her role as co-anchor of CBS Mornings next year as CBS News undergoes major changes under new Paramount Skydance ownership.
Her contract ends in May, and she may take on a new role producing or hosting other programs.
The shift comes amid layoffs and a leadership change led by new editor in chief Bari Weiss, who is steering CBS News toward less liberal content.
