Gas Prices Up Again In Rochester

Another increase in gas prices has been reported in the Rochester area. According to GasBuddy, the average price for a gallon of gas in Rochester has risen 17.8 cents, now averaging $4.54 a gallon. The report says gas prices are 37.3 cents higher than they were a month ago.

Meanwhile, the national gas price average rose by 5.1 cents to an average of $4.48 a gallon. Patrick De Haan, the head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, says states like Michigan and Ohio saw prices fall sharply. Buffalo, Syracuse, and New York City saw their gas prices rise by 13.5 cents, 16.1 cents, and 12.5 cents, respectively.
