From Payroll Issues To Taxes, RCSD Informs Employees Of New Issues
Written by Tariq on January 21, 2026
The Rochester City School District has informed employees of an issue with recently mailed tax forms. According to an email sent out to employees, the issue involves W-2 forms with missing or inaccurate pre-tax contributions attributed to an “ADP migration issue.”
This announcement follows months of issues reported by district employees after a transition to a new payroll platform, “Oracle”, on July 1. Impacted employees alongside the Rochester Teachers Association have spoken out about receiving partial payments or not receiving payments at all.
Employees are now being advised to refrain from using their W-2 forms to file taxes until the problem is corrected. They are directed to submit a claim with the payroll department if they suspect the information on their form is incorrect. Those who have already filed their taxes will also need to submit a claim and will be required to file a corrected W-2C form with their taxes.
