Facebook Marketplace Deal Turns Dangerous: Robbery and Arrest Follow

On February 25, 2026, a Facebook Marketplace car sale on Green Knolls Drive turned into a robbery when the buyer was threatened with a handgun, $3,200 was stolen, and fled in the car that was supposed to be sold.

The suspect was later spotted driving the car, leading to a car-and-foot pursuit near North Clinton Avenue and Upper Falls Boulevard, resulting in an arrest. 

Charges include first-degree robbery and third-degree grand larceny, with more expected.
