Donald Glover Heading To Disney+ As Star Wars Lando 

Disney+ series Lando will now be developed as a Lucasfilm movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Donald Glover played character Lando Calrissian in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, and his character quickly became a fan-favorite. Disney to announce a spin-off series in the works in 2020. Glover was working on the project with his brother, Stephen Glover, before the writers strikes began in the spring. The news broke on the Pablo Torres Finds Out podcast on Sept. 14th. The duo are currently planning to make Lando a movie, though the plans are paused amid the ongoing strikes.
