DA’s Office Investigation Launched into Irondequoit Supervisor Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley will investigate Irondequoit Town Supervisor Andraé Evans following allegations of sexual misconduct made by a former female staff member.
A recent 34-page report detailing these complaints has led to calls for Evans’ resignation.
Despite the controversy, Evans plans to run for reelection.
The Irondequoit Town Board is concerned about his handling of the allegations and will discuss a resolution to censure him at a special meeting scheduled for February 20.
