Corning to Supply Meta in $6B Agreement Supporting U.S. Data Center Growth

Corning Inc. and Meta announced a multiyear deal worth up to $6 billion to support the buildout of Meta’s U.S. data centers.
Corning will supply advanced optical fiber and connectivity products and expand manufacturing in North Carolina, including a new facility in Hickory where Meta will be the anchor customer.
The agreement is expected to boost Corning’s North Carolina workforce by 15–20% and sustain more than 5,000 jobs statewide.
