Construction Suspended After Vandalism Discovered at New Bills Stadium

Construction at Highmark Stadium has been suspended after graffiti was found in several secure areas of the site.

Project managers Gilbane Building Company and Turner Construction Company said they launched an investigation and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for vandalism.

The stoppage comes less than two years after a previous shutdown over a suspected hate symbol that was later deemed not malicious.
