Buffalo Bills Season Ends With Playoff Game Lost To Denver Broncos In OT, 33-30

Written by on January 18, 2026

The Buffalo Bills fell short of the Super Bowl once again, this time with a 33-30 final score at the hands of the Denver Broncos. Turnovers were the story – as James Cook fumbled once and Josh Allen gave it away FOUR times – two interceptions and two fumbles. Allen did have some good moments – passing for 283 yards and rushing for 66. Cook also had 117 yards on the ground. But the Broncos scored 16 points off of the Bills giveaways, including the game-winning field goal from Will Lutz. So, once again, Buffalo’s season ends short of the Super Bowl, this time in the divisional round.

What everyone is talking about is the three calls in overtime. One an unusual interception that ended a Bills possession and the other two pass interference calls on Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White that generated 47 penalty yards on the Broncos’ winning drive.
