Buffalo Bills Close Highmark Stadium With Win, To Face Jacksonville In NFL Playoffs

 Buffalo Bills fans enjoyed a 35-8 win over the New York Jets, and left with tears in their eyes following an emotional end-of-game tribute.  Josh Allen only played one snap to extend his consecutive starts streak, but Mitchell Trubisky threw four touchdowns, leading an offensive attack from start to finish.

Running back James Cook ran for 15 yards on two carries before being taken out for Ray Davis, who went ballistic, with 151 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards. But the real MVP of the game was the fans who stayed and made sure this wasn’t just another game. Songs blared through the speakers ,giving everyone a final chance to share in a moment together at the place the Buffalo Bills have called home for the last 52 years.

And just like that, fans trailed out one last time, with visions of the new Highmark Stadium in the distance, and smiles because of all the memories of the current stadium now becoming a part of the past. Luckily, there’s still a future, as the Bills are merely going across the street and on to the playoffs, to continue making more memories, in a new home.

The 6th Seeded Buffalo Bills will Be heading to Jacksonville Sunday Jan. 11th to play the 3rd Seeded Jaguars at 1pm.
