Assemblyman Demond Meeks has won the Democratic Primary in the 137th Assembly District. Meeks was being challenged by Monroe County Legislature Vice President Mercedes Vazquez-Simmons, and will be seeking his fourth term in the 137th Assembly District covers a large portion of Rochester, along with the Town of Gates.
