2nd Lawsuit Accusing Greece Of Tracking People
Written by Tariq on February 11, 2025
According to the lawsuit, Tina Bachman was working part-time as a house cleaner. She was cleaning a home in Penfield owned by the son-in-law and daughter of former Greece Deputy Town Supervisor Michelle Marini. The lawsuit claims Bachman learned there were investigations into the building of Greece Town Hall and renovations in the Penfield home. The investigations reportedly were related to a pay-to-play scheme where Marini allegedly receives the benefits of these renovations in exchange for government influence. Bachman told her husband, Officer Matthew Bachman of the Greece Police Department, of these allegations, Officer Bachman reported the information to law enforcement. After the reports were made, the lawsuit contends Bachman and her family were put under surveillance — including the Town of Greece putting a GPS tracker on at least one of her cars. The suit contends town and private investigators were tracking the family and inquiring about their activities to people around them. The plaintiffs in this lawsuit are seeking damages for pain and suffering, damages to business and reputation, and further relief if the court deems it proper.
