22-Year-Old Man Shot on Rochester’s West Side

A man, whose identity has not yet been released, arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital late Tuesday evening suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police were called to the hospital around 1:30 a.m. and are still searching for a suspect.

The young man was shot in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Columbia Avenue, according to investigators.

Police say the victim is in stable condition at this time. RPD is asking anyone with information on this case to call 911.
