$1.3M in cannabis seized from Rochester smoke shops

Two Rochester smoke shops—Unique Smoke Shop and Mr. Starlight Smoke Shop—were shut down after a state investigation into illegal cannabis sales.
The New York State Office of Cannabis Management and Rochester Police Department seized about $1.3 million worth of cannabis products, including flower, vapes, edibles, and pre-rolls.
Both shops were padlocked and ordered to close as part of ongoing efforts to crack down on unlicensed sales.
